Can’t wait to see you there!!
First post about John and Holly’s wedding is all about the details!! Their reception at the East Square Plaza in Fayetteville was absolutely gorgeous – from the bird cage centerpieces to the stunning tissue paper flower H’s in the center. I loved the little birds nest with eggs to mark reserved tables, and the cakes looked incredible (and tasted even better!!) This was the first reception we’ve photographed at the East Square Plaza, and I hope we do many more in the coming years. It is simply a wonderful venue and creates the perfect backdrop for an even more perfect evening. Enjoy … and check back tomorrow for the wedding highlights!
This morning I was going through an old hard drive to pull some images … and came across these studio shots from, well, a LONG time ago! I remember putting up this set, and how much fun we had tearing out old book pages and taping them up to the wall. One of the things we love about our job is definitely the freedom to be unique and create funky sets like this for our awesome clients.
Congratulations to Holly and Jon!! Their wedding was last night, which means that we get to show off her bridal photos today! Hooray!! Holly was really looking for more of a vintage style, so we photographed at Pratt Place Inn in Fayetteville. We absolutely LOVE all of the variety the Inn has to offer – wish I could show all the photos but we gotta keep this short and sweet. :) I hope you enjoy these as much as we all do, and check back this week for a sneak peek of their gorgeous wedding.
This week’s “Client of the Week” is Ben and Louise! We thought they were absolutely adorable and extremely entertaining to photograph. ;) There was no end to the goofy faces and laughter – it’s pretty obvious these two are totally in love and excited for their first child, Beck, who will be arriving late July. Enjoy these photos, I know you’ll think they’re as cute as we do!
*Each week we pick a new client to feature – check back often to see if it’s YOU! Plus, at the end of the year we’ll have a vote on our facebook page for the top three clients of the week and they’ll get a sweet surprise from us!
I’m going to take a moment to brag a little bit on some friends and fellow wedding vendors, Junkerman Jones Wedding and Event Design! They put together this incredible Winter Wonderland themed wedding at Pratt Place Barn in Fayetteville that was just featured in the most recent issue of Arkansas Bride! We got to photograph these details for them, and I have to say it truly felt magical! I would highly recommend them to any bride who wants to create the wedding of her dreams!
If there was ever a dramatic interior transformation, this would definitely be it! Joshua Jones designed this incredible space, taking it from drab and slightly depressing to warm and welcoming. Many families will be able to benefit from this home away from home while their children seek medical treatment. We were especially honored that our photographs of the Ronald McDonald House were included in the March issue of Citiscapes Magazine! Check out a slideshow of some of the photos as well as the article below!
1. WEBSITE // where we find ourselves getting lost online …http://www.pinterest.comIf you want to get lost in lovelies, this is the place! One of our favorite baristas pointed this out, and I wondered where it has been all my life. You can scroll through thousands of images, broken into categories, and find out what everyone else loves these days. I found a photo of a lacy pair of TOMS … if you can figure out where to actually buy them you’ll be my hero! Plus, they would make awesome (comfy) bridal shoes.

2. CAUSE // where our hearts are
The Titus Task Haiti Project – http://www.thetitustask.com/give-to-haiti-project.html
The Titus Task, a local non-profit focusing on orphan care worldwide, has taken on the goal of raising $30,000 for a church in Haiti so they are able to buy a new piece of land when their current lease runs out … in July! In the words of Lori Tugwell, the founder of the Titus Task, “Ever since Pastor Andre first told us of the large amount of money needed – I have to admit I have been a little concerned about whether or not we would be able to raise that much money. It has come to my attention over and over — we CAN’T, but GOD CAN…We felt the urgency and leading of God to try to gather a big group of people that could help Pastor Andre…We are so thankful for those of you who have given! We are almost at 5% of our goal…Please consider how you might be a part of the story!”

3. EDIBLE // what makes our stomachs happy!
Mojito Cookies and Herbed Goat Cheese with Lefsa Crisps at Hjem Restaurant (pronounced “Yem”) in Fayettevile. Yum, yum and more yum. If you want to keep up with our foodie adventures through iPhone pics, check out Matt’s facebook gallery!
There’s something special about a newborn baby, something fresh and innocent. Summit was just nine days old when we photographed him, which meant lots of sleeping and adorable facial expressions and random arm and leg movements as he’s figuring out how to use his muscles. What a bundle of CUTENESS!!! We love fresh newborns, especially because we’re able to capture images that you just can’t get after two weeks or so. Like this one … ;)
This is a huge honor for us! Professional Photographer has chosen to feature our senior work in their latest edition … and we couldn’t be more excited. Of course, we owe it all to our amazing high school seniors and clients … because without you we’d be photographing flowers. Seriously though, we wouldn’t be where we are today without YOU! ;) CLICK HERE TO READ THE ARTICLE!!
